Another Quick Night of Work For the Chosen Ones
On July 19, UFC Fight Night Anderson Silva put on another impressive display of his technical striking ability. Silva is a surgeon. It only took a minute to end Saturday night’s fight against light heavyweight contender James Irvin. I’m a big fan of the Sandman, especially since he is a local fighter with Sacramento roots. Apart from that though I did not expect the fight to go that long. With Silva it is only a matter of time before he capitalizes on an opponents mistake. In order to be successful against Silva, one must be “awake”.
Jackson vs. Griffin Review
Wow! What a fight! My hat goes off to Forrest on winning the judges. This was a very technical display by Griffin. He has improved greatly in the last year and looks as hungry as ever. He utilized low leg kicks to the Jackson’s front leg in order to slow Rampage down and take some of the power off his punches. Jackson’s power was still impressive. Jackson looked like he landed the harder shots however Griffin had better ring generalship. Griffin imposed his will on Jackson and forced the champ to fight Griffin’s stick and move style.
Silva vs. Irvin
going to be scary, im rooting for my main man ANDERSON SILVA!! but i really like James Irvin, should be very interesting fight
