Cornerback article
I don’t like this article because I feel he is skewing the numbers to make his point. I know it is a column so it is his opinion but the numbers about how the niners didn’t get better on defense with the signing of Clements based on the numbers is untrue. The defense didn’t get better because the offense was so poor that they were on the field for longer. I bet if you did a breakdown of how long the Niners defense was on the field in comparison to the other defenses in the league, then the numbers would speak for themselves.
