Sam Bradford by Ivan Maisel
Interesting little feature on OU quarterback Sam Bradford.
Shanahan Out in Denver
I had to rewind the DVR when I saw this come across the ticker. I couldn’t, and still can’t believe it.
Best Big Man in the NBA?
Lions 0-15, can they do it?
As they get closer, I’m starting to believe. Although after watching a few of their last games, I don’t really believe they’re this bad. Minus today’s game, of course.
Romo-T.O. Feud?
You knew this was coming. I especially love the bit from the anonymous Cowboy. Any suggestions on who this might be?
NBA Power Rankings, Vol. 2
Taking a break from college football and all the nonsense that is the BCS, here is the 2nd edition of my NBA power rankings:
1) Boston Celtics (18-2): The reigning champs haven’t lost a step. Not even close. Rondo seems to have really come into his own. He is on another level of late.
2) LA Lakers (15-2): They would’ve probably been #1 had they not lost to Indiana earlier this week. They are too deep. Someone needs to check and see if Lamar Odom knows he’s not starting.
Sean Avery: Suspension Worthy?
Avery gets suspended for being a regular, everyday, normal guy (thanks John Lajoie). Who wouldn’t say what Avery said? Especially when it involves Elisha Cuthbert.
ESPN Bowl Projections
Just check out who Schlabach has in the NC and then in the Fiesta. Seriously? The only way this would work is if OU beats Missouri. So Marky thinks that Texas will still jump OU if that happens? The only way Texas plays in the NC game is if OU loses, which would knock them out of the BCS entirely. There is no excuse for such a colossal mistake by the “World Wide Leader”. Unless he put this out before the BCS came out (which is just stupid in itself), ESPN needs to do some serious soul-searching and look at who they have writing for them.
BCS Projections Vol. 4
Its that time of the week again. BCS rankings have just come out and controversy has muddled everything. Oklahoma jumped Texas to take over #2 and the Sooners are now headed to the Big XII Championship game. Oregon State lost, all but ensuring USC will be heading to Pasedena, and what about Boise State? Without further adieu…
Brandon Jennings: EuroStar?
Great article from ESPN the Mag about former high school superstar Brandon Jennings. For those that don’t remember, Jennings is the former McDonald’s All-American who spurned Arizona to play pro basketball in Italy. Make sure you watch the video accompanied.
