Rebounds or Assists? Who do we draft?
The problem with the Dubs is that they have 1 too many skinny power forwards and 6 shooting guards and no Starting point guard.
We’re solid w/ CJ as our backup, and I liked what Randolph showed last year. With just a little more weight, he could be a legit power forward with lots of Extras.
I do NOT like the idea of using him as a StackJack-like point forward. Love the skills but we need a point GUARD.

Few! We got some more pitching in the draft yesterday. Finally – I think we’ve addressed that gaping whole we have in the farm system.
I actually think this is a good move. I think we need to draft potential power hitters in the later rounds, but not with our top pick, except in rare cases like Buster (though even he might not bring much pop to the majors).
Why?
Because everybody (other than Boras) knows that there is no sure things coming out of the MLB draft and I think that is especially the case for hitters.
Why does Damon Bruce work for KNBR?
Seriously. I know he’s only part blow-hard and part (so he thinks) a personality, but I just turn off the radio every time I hear his voice and his grating opinions.
Giants winning? Doesn’t matter. They should trade for Arod or something.
Warriors losing but entertaining? Doesn’t matter. Worst team ever apparently. Nelson should be bludgoned to death with Damon’s gigantic ego…

Buster a Bust? Put Panda behind the Plate
I don’t get the Giants Strategy w/ Buster Posey.
Why make him a catcher when we can sign our best RBI threat to a 1yr + team option,
Move Sandoval to 1st and bring Buster up as a 3rd baseman in September and 2010.
Then once Bengi is gone, move Sandoval behind the dish (who is I think a better natural catcher than even bengi – good blocker and arm and calls a great game) then sign another bat at the corner (or promote Guzman or another)
Keep Buriss and HighRenteria in the middle for one more year, then hopefully replace Rent w/ Crawford in 2011.
