If the Warriors can net a trade exception, a second round pick, and Rakovic for Watson I’ll be impressed. If they can steal a first round pick from the Magic for Watson I will be amazed. Neither move is going to directly help the Warriors improve one bit on last season’s 29 win disaster, but that’s still some good stuff.

Felix Jones sat out team drills this morning because of stiffness in his surgically repaired left big toe. “I don’t foresee it being a problem,” RB coach Skip Peete. “We’re in training camp, two weeks in, and guys are getting sore and stiff and all that stuff.”

Just as rookie wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey emerged from his slow start, he sustained a toe injury that prevented him from practicing much Sunday. Heyward-Bey worked on his pass-catching on a field adjacent to where his teammates practiced full-team drills.

Brees, who missed the Black and Gold scrimmage Saturday, practiced twice and is expected to be with the team all week and play in Friday’s exhibition opener against the Cincinnati Bengals at the Superdome.
