Bearcats May Have Stumbled But They Did Not Fall
Although the rest of the country will say “I told ya so”, I am not discouraged by what happened in the Orange Bowl to the Cincinnati Bearcats. Although the Bearcats played a miserable game, and gave critics every reason to say why they didn’t deserve to be there, the mere fact that they were there was enough to realize that the 2008 season was something special.
Rangers Young Wants Trade
Rangers shortstop Michael Young said that he requested a trade because of the teams want for him to move to third base to make way for a shortstop prospect. The Rangers are reportedly looking for a third baseman in return for Young, if they do decide to trade him.
Colts Dungy to retire as Coach
The Indianapolis scheduled a press conference for this evening to announce coach Tony Dungy’s decision to retire. Dungy, who made the decision after consulting with his family, will be replaced by Colts assistant coach Jim Caldwell who was picked as his successor in waiting last year.
Henderson, Rice voted into Baseball Hall of Fame
It was announced today that Rickey Henderson and Jim Rice received enough votes to be elected in to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Henderson was voted in on his first chance while Rice had to wait until his final opportunity to get elected.
Bearcats Shot Their Way to Victory
The University of Cincinnati Bearcats defeated the Mississippi State University Bulldogs Thursday night, 75-63, in the Big East/SEC Invitational. The Bearcats were lead by guard Deonta Vaughn’s 16 points, six assists, and seven rebounds.
They Did It
They did it! They are the champions…of the Big East. As you may have figured out through my past blog posts I am a huge fan of the Cincinnati Bearcats football team. They had never really been a team that achieved much or one that anyone cared about, for good reason really, until last year. Last year they got coach who would change everything, and this year they just kept on a going.

Kings Fire Theus
The Sacremento Kings fired head coach Reggie Theus on Monday after starting the season 6-18. Theus will be replaced by assistant coach Kenny Natt.
Bearcats Rebound After Loss to Xavier
The University of Cincinnati Bearcats beat Charlestown Southern Monday night 74-55. The Bearcats, who improved to 7-2 on the young season, were lead by freshman Yancy Gates career-high 18 points.
