What are the two most important things to you when visiting another user's profile page?

As we continue to make refinements across the entire site, next up is the user profile page. Since this is one of the most important aspects of FSM, we want to get feedback from our valued FSM alpha users. What do you want to see when you go to another persons page? What do you want other people to see when they go to your page? Don’t be shy to comment! Pick only two.

how about all of them? the more things we know about our friends and what they are doing, the better, no?

privacy concerns could be an issue here too, possibly (like facebook) create a way for people to block certain things to be shared or not.

I should have rephrased the question better, we were aiming at what users wanted to be in the forefront. They all will definitely be there.



About privacy concerns, a system similar to Facebook could help things out a lot. However, unlike Facebook, we have an open network, where users are able to see other people’s profiles without first being their friend.



For the sake of a sports social network, we believe that being an open network is probably the only way to go. Of course, we will keep spam and privacy concerns of our users in the forefront of our plans.
