re: I’m shocked the first seed was ousted, but even more shocked at how small the gap is between the #1 player and the rest of the world. Ever since Henin retired, I’m not sure who the best women’s player actually is. Most of the seeded women are worthy of the #1 ranking, and none of them are invincible as shown by Ivanovic’s loss.
