Orton impressive with two-TD opener

Kyle Orton finished 8-of-13 for 84 yards and two touchdown passes in the Broncos' preseason opener at Cincinnati Sunday.
Our View
Orton was on fire in his 2010 debut, repeatedly showing improved zip on his passes. Reports out of Denver's camp have painted the veteran as much improved this offseason and he backed it up with scoring strikes to Eddie Royal and Brandon Lloyd. His command of the offense was apparent from the start, and both of his TDs came against the Bengals' first-team defense.
Tebow still out
The News
Tim Tebow (ribs) participated in Denver's walk-through on Wednesday, but was again unable to practice, according to Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post.
Our View
He's now been down for the count since August 14. Is this the beginning of a short and injury-plagued NFL career? Hopefully not.
Bear Pascoe only Giants TE for preseason opener
The News
Coach Tom Coughlin expects Bear Pascoe to be the only tight end in uniform for the Giants preseason opener against the Jets, according to Michael Eisen of Giants.com.
Our View
Kevin Boss, Travis Beckum, Scott Chandler and Jake Ballard are all sidelined with various injuries. However, they won't be for long, and Pascoe should enjoy the extra playing time while he has the chance.
Brady feeling good

Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com reports that Tom Brady is healthy after 26 practices. "I feel great, as good as you could feel. Arm feels good. Legs feel good. Finger feels good. I have no concerns," says the superstar quarterback.
Our View
A healthy Brady is obviously a good thing. Injury doesn't look to be a legit reason to avoid drafting him.
