The Devil Rays and Reality
With Carlos Pena going down, Tampa Bay appears to have a date with destiny… that destiny being their vacation on “Contention Island” is over and the long trip home to the cellar begins. Their defense has been impressive along with their young pitching staff, but can this team continue to win close games when its power surge dies out? Not that many people know much about this team, but does anyone know why or how they are playing so well?
A success for them is 82 wins. If they reach in a division in which three teams are clearly better, I would give Madden manager of the year.

He was a prospect for a while who's now turned into All-Star material. Good job screwing that up, A's!- Freddie Footballer

Carl Crawford and Co.
Crawford is having an All-Star type year as well as B.J. Upton. Their speed and fundamental pitching coupled with their solid defense make the TB Rays in contention for every game. If Kazmir can stay healthy and consistent....look out AL wild card.
