SI cover jinx for Lincecum?
Tim Lincecum gets his first shot at testing the SI cover jinx when he faces the Cubs this afternoon. Do you think the national hype is going to throw this kid off and force Timmy off the mound early or do you think he’s going to go 7+ innings and mow down batters to the tune of at least 10 K?

The Giants won the game 8-3, with Lincecum going 6 innings, giving up 7 hits, 3 runs, a walk, and 8 strikeouts to get his 10th win and have a 2.49 ERA. I think he did pretty good considering the national hype that he is finally getting and deserves.
