D-Day for Americans in the EPL
Sunday, 7 out of the 12 Americans playing in the English Premier League will know their fate. Five players (Clint Dempsey, Carlos Bocanegra, Eddie Johnson, Brian McBride and Kasey Keller) need a win at Portsmouth to avoid relegation for the second straight year with Fulham.
Bobby Convey and Marcus Hahnemann with Reading need to win against Derby to have a shot at staying in the Premiership. Benny Feilhaber and Eddie Lewis of Derby already know they’re going down (Derby, by the way, had one of the worst seasons ever of any team in the EPL). I pick Fulham to win and Reading to draw, keeping Fulham up and Reading back to the Championship.

Fulham up, Reading down
what a dramatic day. Fulham wins 14 min from time to stay in the EPL, and Reading goes down despite winning 4-0.- Freddie Footballer

it means everything
lose, and these teams not only play in the Championship next season, but it means uncertain futures for these players. I'll certainly be watching on Sunday.- Freddie Footballer
