Brett Favre Retires - Where does he stand as the greatest QB's ever
The gunslinger of Lambeau has hung up his cleats. Was he better than Marino, Montana, Bradshaw, Elway. Where does he rank among the great QB’s of all time. Not just numbers but skill at the QB position.

I think he's #1
Elway is similar but I've never seen one guy do so much with so little for so long. It's not as if they ever had elite RBs or WRs for extended periods of time. Sterling Sharpe, Dorsey Levens, etc. none of these guys are future HOF'ers. more importantly he never really missed any games which is completely ridiculous to ask of an NFL QB. -bBMarch 4, 2008 - 7:35pm

I think he brought that competitive spirit and love of the game that was so evident throughout his career. I don't think he's inside the top 5 but he's top 10 material. That impish grin and passion he showed is what he'll be remembered for. He'll get into the HOF no problem as well.- Freddie Footballer
