The Carolina Panthers have suspended three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Steve Smith for the first two games of the regular season for his involvement in a training camp fight on Friday with cornerback Ken Lucas. Smith, a three-time Pro Bowl selection, will continue to practice when training camp resumes on Monday and will be allowed to participate in preseason games, according to Fox. The Panthers are off on Sunday.
wow thats harsh Goodell must have called the Panthers and told them to lay the law down. 2 regular season games for a training camp fight seems like a lot. it’s safe to say the panthers are going to be 0-2. -bB
re: Training camp fights happen all the time, I guess this one just got out of control.
