Maria Sharapova moved a step closer to the number one ranking, but only after a less than convincing victory over Dominika Cibulkova at the Italian Open.

More screams

Sharapova’s famous “ahhh” grunt/scream/screech will get more airtime. On the court in Rome, her finishes on the baseline do look less than convincing.

I don't think that anyone else is complaining

that Henin retired, esp Sharapova or the Williams sisters.
