Joe Torre was hired Thursday to manage the Los Angeles Dodgers, taking the job two weeks after walking away from the New York Yankees.

Torre Joe Torre has always been a great coach when it comes to dealing with great players with even greater egos and atitudes. It will be very interesting to see if he can handle a somewhat young team. I don’t think this is a very good fit for him.

thats a valid point I didn’t even think about that. He should be fine. He’s had some young guys come up in the Yank’s farm system. It’ll be a different set up for sure and he’ll be on a different coast, different vibe, different league. If he can have success here, that will certainly validate him as one of the best ever baseball managers.
