Spurs star Manu Ginobili had successful surgery on his left ankle and heel Wednesday afternoon in Los Angeles. The procedure, conducted by Dr. Richard Ferkel, repaired a posterior impingement that bothered Ginobili during the 2007-08 season, particularly during the Spurs’ Western Conference finals series against the Los Angeles Lakers.
