Giants' Burress (ankle) practices in pads for first time

Burress, who has been bothered by a troublesome right ankle, jogged a few pass routes during individual drills and lined up with the starters as they walked through a couple of plays in the evening workout. He did not run any patterns full speed, but he did catch a couple of passes from Eli Manning.

same as last yr Burress is not as good as he thinks. he played well last yr and made big plays in the playoffs but he is capable of playing by not practicing at all. last yr he didnt practice all week before games and still scored touchdowns. i wouldnt give him a big contract because he only has two maybe three good years left
