Something has got to be wrong… ...with Borowski, injury-wise. Yeah, the guy is old, but we’re talking about a decrease in fast ball speed from 87 to like 82,83 in one year. Thats pretty huge.
This is a harsh article As much as he has struggled, Joe Borowski led the AL in saves last year. So say what you want but i feel he got the job done more than not. But as of this year whether it be injury or not his velocity was extremely low compared to what he usually has thrown. It really is a shame but i feel that he may not be back in the MLB certainly as a closer.
