Probably the true NL MVP this year, C.C. Sabathia pitched the Milwaukee Brewers to their first post season birth since 1982, with a complete game four hit win over the Chicago Cubs. Sabathia, pitching on just three days rest for the second time in a row, went the full distance allowing only four hits an no earned runs. Sabathia pitched his seventh complete game of the season in just seventeen starts since being traded to the Brewers.
To say that he is the main reason that Milwaukee will be playing in October for the first time in 26 years in an understatement.
