America's Most Miserable Sports Cities over Past 30 Years

An atricle in last week’s issue of Forbes magazine listed the top 10 most miserable sports cities in the United States over the past 30 years or so.
.....Tampa Bay and the bay area would be decent substitutes for Denver and say Atlanta.
I’m surprised the bay area (SF) was not in the top 5, we haven’t won anything since the glory days of the late 80’s/early 90’s. – Freddie Footballer
....that Denver be put on this list. The Rockies were pretty good for a while and the Broncos dide win back to back Superbowls in the late 1990’s. Plus the Avalanche were a successful franchise for so long.
