nick diaz performance in dream

Blog post by stantheman13, 2 months ago

Nick Diaz was impressive in his win against Katsuya Inoue by TKO at 6:45 in the first round. The Japanese fighter was out on his feet by the time Diaz was finished with him. I expect big things from Diaz in 2008. He is an awesome fighter, definitely amoung the world’s elite in his weight class. He was relentless in this fight stalking Inoue throughout the whole first round. Diaz looked as if he was on a mission. He’s been discriminated heavily in the past due to his use of cannabis. I think this is bogus. Fighters should be able to do what they want in their offtime especially if it’s not a performance-enhancer. I believe the same should go for all sports. Diaz is also a medical marijuana patient in California making it legal for him California to use cannabis. I am looking forward to the June 14 Elite XC card where Diaz will once again display his supreme technical skills and enormous heart. I would like to see him win by submission this time, but TKO is okay with me. I was also really pleased to see the new Dream organization promote a fight so well. I miss seeing fighters fight in rings, much preferable to the cage setting.
